I also invite you to follow me on Twitter but with this disclaimer: I tweet infrequently. Quite honestly, when push comes to shove, as it does most days, the needs of my work trumps the call of Twitter, as also does any editorial deadline, the muse's scheduled or sudden appearance, cooking dinner, talking to my sons, coffee with my husband, a long walk, a good book or film. I applaud, and seek to learn from, all tweeters who can pump out numerous 140-character tweets daily, without an assistant, and still lead a full life.
In the spirit of my two-pronged professional focus–creative writing and medical writing–I originally had two sparsely populated Twitter feeds, but now have only continued the one related to creative writing.
